Project Details:
One of the most complicated and technologically challenging projects undertaken by the Web Development Team. The team worked closely with UC Riverside's Extension program to completely revamp their Web presence, creating a unique look and feel for their site that still conformed to UCR's branding standards. Content was carefully reorganized to quickly provide visitors with the information that they are seeking.
One of the largest challenges was taking what had been one site with several subject different areas and functions and separating it into distinct, yet interconnected sites. The main Extension site now features information on courses and certificate programs, while smaller sites host information on Conference Services, the Osher Lifelong Learning program and the International Education program.
The site features an online search function that allows visitors to browse for classes and certificate programs as well as the ability to register and pay for classes online.
